THE DIRECTOR’S COMMENT

I feel wonderful inside this after-world of guilt, lost time, memories of my past and of my future. Naturally, this is where I seek all of my loves. Besides, the girls of paradise are so boring.

This movie is a necro-romance about the darkness and the thrashing humidity of unfulfilled desires and of ghosts. It’s where those marvellous carnivorous flowers of noir film blossom.

Sometimes they’re hoarse and sometimes out of tune, but with a piercing and persistent voice, “the wretches are still singing”. And there are hidden transmissions, which are received and deciphered, so the wave just gets bigger. Plus, there are always new “drivers” available for decoding…
